The point you become hoggish, and wish to get "lucky", is the point you squander all of your cash. Seems a bit strange, but it seems to be real. The only time I ever come away with money is when I don’t panic about losing it. I decided to go to the the casino the other night with $20 in cashin my pocket. I could not care any less about losing it, I mean, what is $20? So guess what happened? I left with $120 profit in just two hours!

Another time I was at the casino with my friend Charles. I took with me 100 dollars that I could not bear to lose. I got insatiable, I got terrified, and I ended up betting too much and squandered it in thirty minutes! The lesson is do not bet anymore than you can stand to squander. If you don’t panic about squandering, you have a greater opportunity of winning big!

What other ways can you enhance your chances of winning at Roulette other than setting a budget? Never bet on individual numbers! Sure, they come up every once in a while, but they do not come up often enough to ensure a constant profit. Only bet on 1:1 wagers e.g. black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets e.g. first dozen, second dozen, third dozen, etc Wager on odds that pay pretty big.

With the basic rules reviewed, how else might we further elevate our chances of winning at Roulette? By making probability into our friend, as opposed to our mortal enemy. "You can’t succeed at Roulette", my buddy Charles would say to me. "It’s completely random because any number could come up". Absolutely, my buddy Mike has a point, but at the same time, he is missing a crucial part of the picture. I absolutely agree, black or red can come up thirty times in a row, but how often does that happen?
