The point you become hoggish, and pray to get "lucky", is the time you squander all of your money. Sounds a bit strange, but it seems to be credible. The only time I ever come away with money is when I do not worry about blowing it. I went to the the casino the other evening with twenty dollars. I could not care less about losing it, who cares about 20 dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I left with $120 in profit in just 2 hours!

Another occassion I headed to the casino with my buddy Chris. I went in with 100 dollars that I couldn’t stand to lose. I got gluttonous, I got terrified, and I ended up wagering too much and squandered it in 30 minutes! The lesson my friends is do not wager anymore than you can manage to lose. If you don’t care about squandering, you have a lot more chance of winning big!

How else can you increase your chances of winning at Roulette other than setting a budget? Never bet on single numbers! Sure, they hit occasionally, but they do not hit enough to guarantee a constant profit. Only wager on even wagers like black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets e.g. first 12, 2nd dozen, third dozen, etc Bet on odds that pay out pretty high.

With the basic rules reviewed, how else might we further elevate our chances of succeeding at Roulette? By shifting probability into our buddy, instead of our mortal enemy. "You can’t win at Roulette", my buddy Jeff would say to me. "It’s absolutely random because any number could come up". Absolutely, my buddy Ben has a point, but at the same time, he is overlooking a crucial part of the picture. I absolutely agree, red or black possibly could come up 30 times in a row, but how often does that happen?
