The time you become hoggish, and wish to get "lucky", is the point you lose all of your money. Sounds a little absurd, but it appears to be factual. The only time I ever win cash is when I don’t care about squandering it. I headed to the the casino the other evening with $20 in cashin my pocket. I could not care any less about blowing it, who cares about $20? So guess what happened? I ended up leaving with one hundred and twenty dollars in profit in just one hour!

Another time I was at the casino with my buddy Mike. I took in one hundred dollars that I couldn’t stand to squander. I got greedy, I got worried, and I ended up betting too much and losing it in thirty mins! The lesson my friends is never ever wager more than you can afford to lose. If you don’t panic about squandering, you have a lot more opportunity of profiting big!

How else can you increase your chances of succeeding at Roulette besides creating a budget? Never bet on single numbers! Sure, they hit occasionally, but they don’t come up enough to ensure a steady profit. Just wager on 1:1 bets e.g. red, black, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 wagers for example 1st dozen, second 12, third dozen, etc Wager on odds that pay out relatively big.

With the basic rules covered, how else might we additionally elevate our chances of winning at Roulette? By making probability into our friend, instead of our enemy. "You can’t succeed at Roulette", my friend Steve would say to me. "It is completely arbitrary because any number can come up". Yes, my friend Ben does have a point, although at the same time, he is overlooking a critical part of the picture. I totally agree, black or red can be landed on 30 times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
